Wildfire Defense Systems Overview

Smart Fire Protection for Every Setting

At RainFire, we know that no two communities are exactly alike, which is why we’ve developed a tiered approach to wildfire defense. Whether you're in a suburban neighborhood, a new housing development, or a rural area with little infrastructure, our wildfire protection systems adapt to your environment and make the most of existing resources.

Our systems fall into three categories, each offering scalable, efficient, and rapid-deployment solutions for different levels of infrastructure:

Community-Wide
Preventive Systems

Proactive Wildfire Defense for Entire Neighborhoods

Benefits Include:

  • Protects multiple homes, schools, and businesses simultaneously
  • Maximizes efficiency by using existing water infrastructure
  • Supports grant applications and fire mitigation incentives
Neighborhood threatened by wildfire

RainFire’s systems aren’t just about individual properties, they’re about community-wide protection. By spacing hydrant-based sprinklers strategically, our systems can blanket entire neighborhoods in a preventative rainfall effect, dramatically reducing the likelihood of ignition.

Hydrant-Based Systems are ideal for urban and suburban environments with established fire hydrant networks. These systems retrofit directly onto existing hydrants, transforming them into powerful wildfire suppression tools in a matter of hours or days, without overhauling your existing water infrastructure.

Hydrant-Based Systems

Make Your Existing Infrastructure Work Smarter

System Styles Include:

  • Clamp Style: Fast, affordable, and bolts directly to most existing hydrants with two sets of bolts.
  • Bonnet Style: Requires a redesigned bonnet for hydrants but delivers a seamless integration and discreet profile.
  • Monitor Style: Side-mounted like the Clamp, with a streamlined profile.

Temporary & Portable Systems

Rapid Deployment Options For When Time Is Critical

System Styles Include

  • Portable Emergency: Attaches via standard fire hose to any hydrant. The unit is weighted down with gravel or cement bags and can be positioned wherever needed quickly.
  • Build That Wall: A unique solution for rural areas with no hydrant access. This system uses local water sources, a pump, and a daisy chain of sprinkler poles to create a 4-mile-long water barrier in wildfire paths.

Our portable and emergency-use systems are designed to be deployed quickly in areas adjacent to hydrants or in response to imminent wildfire threats. These solutions offer short-term protection during red flag warnings, emergencies, or event-specific needs.
